HPI RS4 BMW-1/18 Scale
HPI has licenses with many of the world's full-size automotive
manufacturers to create versions of their most popular cars and
trucks. Such manufacturers as Chevrolet, Lamborghini, Dodge,
Honda, Porsche, Alfa Romeo Toyota, Nissan,  Audi,  Peugeot,
Ford, Daimler-Chrysler, and many, many more have some of the
hottest cars around today. The RS4 won the  best of show in
2002. And you can get them in RTR version also.

The micro electronic speed controller doesn't require any setup,
Just plug it in and go. It includes reverse. Plugs are compatible
with all HPI Micro motors. The thermal shut-off ensures it
doesn't get too hot! The speed controller works with all HPI

The radio transmitter has a battery strength indicator, which lets
you know when the batteries need to be replaced or charged.
The transmitter also consists of a retractable antenna, steering
and throttle trim dials which allow fine adjustments to center the
servos. It also has a dual rate adjustment for the steering! Dual
rate is important because, with it, you can adjust how far the
steering servo turns the front wheels left and right.

All HPI bodies are made of  polycarbonate plastic. And they're
made to withstand some of the roughest activities an rc'er can
dish out.

For the kit models, and to make painting easier, all HPI rc cars
are treated with a clear film that is sprayed on. Pre-cut masking
for the vinyl windows, as well as pre-cut vinyl decals help to
ensure a fast, trouble-free paint job.  Each car body also comes
with a realistic racing wing and adjustable Mounting hardware for
better performance.

HPI specializes in RC car and truck kits, which can come already
assembled or in kit form, meaning you build it yourself or with a
friend. While the kit R/C cars and trucks cost more at first, they
are more durable and faster than toy R/C cars. You can also
repair this type of R/C car or truck, which is usually impossible or
very difficult to do with toy R/C cars.

The cost to repair a car or truck is only a fraction of the cost it
would take to send a toy-style kit to its manufacturer (if that is
even possible). You can also upgrade an R/C car or truck to
make it faster, stronger, more durable, more adjustable or just
make it look nicer.

For racing indoors, the Micro RS4 1/18 scale kit is the perfect
size. The 4WD drive single belt with rubber tires makes running
it on low-pile carpet, tile and hard-wood floors a piece of cake.
