#832 RTR Savage 25 Truck with Nitro GT-1 Truck Body
|
The new Savage 25 1/8th truck is HPI's most powerful truck to date! An offshoot
of the popular Savage truck, it takes RC'ers to the next level. Monster truck
enthusiasts get more power, with higher speeds, and extra option parts as
standard equipment!

The Savage 25 is powered by the new Nitro Star S-25 engine. It has 20% more
displacement than its predecessor. The .25 cubic inch (4.1cc) big block engine
features a billet aluminum heatsink head for extra cooling, dual bushing aluminum
connecting rod, true ABC chrome sleeve construction for durability, and a simplified
dual needle 7mm slide carburetor for easier tuning with a composite body for better
performance at higher temperatures. The new S-25 engine is so powerful that HPI
was able to gear the truck for higher top speeds, yet still retain excellent punch off
the line. A high speed spur gear (49T) and larger clutchbell (15T) are now standard
equipment, and it also includes an 18 tooth clutchbell for high speed on-road
driving! From the start you'll notice that the Savage 25 has more punch and a
higher top speed.

Star S-25 engine features:
* 20% larger displacement than the
21BB engine
* Billet purple anodized aluminum heatsink
head for improved cooling and strength
* Composite carburetor for improved heat
resistance
* Large 7mm carb opening for increased
airflow
* True ABC chrome sleeve construction
for durability and long life
* Dual needle adjustments for easier
tuning than the 21BB
* Purple anodized aluminum carb trim
* Stealth black case for improved cooling
* Roto Start compatible
For added convenience HPI added their
Roto Start System, which eliminates the
pullstarter from the engine! Owners won't
have to worry about getting blisters from
trying to start their engines - Just press
the button and the engine roars to life!
One added bonus of the Roto Start is that
the primer button located on the fuel tank
is no longer needed, so it has been
removed which will help reduce the air
leaks. HPI also moved the fuel pick-up to
the rear of the fuel tank to help make the
truck run more consistently through the
entire tank of fuel. A ceramic in-tank fuel
filter is now standard.

The Savage is one of the toughest and best
handling monster trucks on the market, but HPI
has made it even better with the introduction of
the Savage 25. They used a heavy duty
three-shoe clutch instead of the standard
two-shoe design to help handle the increase in
power. It also helps push the truck harder under
all driving conditions.
The new ribbed wheel hex hub design is included
to help the RC'er cope with the extra power.
Stiffer shock springs now come standard, which
gives a flatter trajectory when making large jumps
and better performance cornering at higher
speeds.
The Savage 25 comes completely factory
assembled. In less than 15 minutes you can be
driving your Savage 25 truck! A complete
Instruction Manual that covers the entire
assembly/disassembly process is included.
*Compatible with T-Maxx bodies
*Compatible with T-Maxx wheels
*Compatible with T-Maxx tires
And will only cost about $20 more than the
Savage 21. Good Driving!
