Mini 1/28th scale RC cars are designed to be raced anywhere. You can race
them inside, in the driveway, in the backyard, in the garage, or just about
anyplace you desire. They're only about 5 inches long but they have all the
authentic detail that the larger models have.
Mini RC cars can be raced (6 at a time) in an area no larger than 3' x 6'. All
except the Overland comes with speed bumps, barriers and cones, cones
so that you can set up your own track in minutes.

I would recommend the beginner start out with the RTR. It's more
expensive than the kit version because the radio and speed controller are
included, but RTR's are a quicker way for the newcomer to get into the
hobby. If you decide to go with the kit, you will have to buy your own radio
and speed controller.
